Description: This auction is for a nice Antique Sandwich Lacy Glass, Canary Glass Child's Pointed Ovals Toy Tumbler, c. 1830-1850. The pressed toy tumbler is a very pretty example of Sandwich colored glass with a pressed pointed oval design. The tumbler has a wonderful canary glass color and it is in flint glass. This tumbler is listed in "A Guide To Sandwich Glass Witch Balls, Containers and Toys" by Barlow and Kaiser, plates #3320. This tumbler has a strong provenance as it comes from the Levine Collection of Sandwich Glass! I offer the toy tumbler here with no reserve and a "Buy It Now". DIMENSIONS: The toy canary glass tumbler is 1 3/4" H. x 1 11/16" Dia. CONDITION: The condition is very good with minimal roughness to the rim and base. There are some common imperfections in the early pressed glass such as bubbles, striations, sand and an unpolished bubble at the seam.
