Description: Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Antique American Art Pottery. Nice sort of scarce very early Roseville pitcher. As with all the very early Roseville pitchers this is unmarked. Dates to the 1910-1916 time period. The pattern is called The Mill. Blue and white art pottery piece (actually a blue and cream color). Has a windmill scene on one side and a sailboat on the other. Beaded upper rim. Guaranteed an authentic Roseville piece. Antique. Over 100 years old. Fair to good condition for age. This was an utilitarian piece and was used. There are a few small chips to spout end (pictured). There is a hairline to the rim(pictured). There are several discolored crows feet on the bottom. There is discolored crazing patina throughout which is typical of pottery from this period. . There may be typical in-the-making imperfections like voids left from sand grit, glaze bubbles, etc.. that may be noticed. Nice scarce very early Roseville art pottery pitcher.
