Description: This antique printing block (along with others we currently have listed on eBay) comes to you estate-fresh from an old Brooklyn, New York brownstone that we recently liquidated. Found packed away in the old basement workshop they most likely haven't been touched in several decades if not more. Depicted is a saw or knife tool of some sort. On its blade is printed "R. HOE & CO. - New York & London" (in reverse as can be expected). "H B 3 K 8" stamped into wood on the side.Metal on wood construction. Wood measures 2-3/4" by 5/8" by 7/8". Note that the metal printing part extends beyond the wood.Overall nice antique condition w/ a century's worth ofgeneral wear. Check out the other blocks we've got listed.
