It was in very poor condition but it had good bones I think it dates from circa 1920-1940 based non the pipe style & design The top is solid maple boards,,, the character & patina in the top is incredible complete with drill holes, paint remnants, dents, black burn marks, dings old screws & tacks around the edges I carefully sanded the top to preserve all the patina then I applied many coats of hand rubbed marine varnish to showcase the patina & protect this beautiful looking maple plank top I added the 2 rods across each end to stabilize the legs & had to have the cool looking original cone feet welded in place Antique double end curvy wrench was a custom addition All metal sealed with clear laquer Perhaps you will think this is as unique & beautiful as I do & want to purchase it!
