Description: This is a great piece of Americana - an antique wooden sugar bucket - or firkin. Staved wood construction with bent wood handle and bands. All panels are still firmly in place, the bottom is solid and the lid is in good shape as well. The handle is still firmly attached to the wooden pegs. There are some scuffs to the painted fruit motif and on some areas of the bucket as well as the lid. No deep gouges or serious scratches. The artwork was painted by "Jenny" in the 1970's. Such a nice display piece! Measures 10 inches tall by about 10 inches wide at the base. Please view all photos and any questions prior to purchase. Thanks for looking.
