BE SURE to tap on "Read More" for additional photos and complete description Please see images below in description as part of item's condition Antique Peter Wiederer & Bro Tri-Fold Shaving Mirror Embossed Asian Bird Scenes Description Antique Peter Wiederer & Bro Shaving Mirror -Made in the late 1800s by Peter Wiederer & Bro of New York -Patent applied for on the metal hallmarked emblem -Decorative embossed 2 panels of Asian scenes with crane birds and interesting "man crane" -Panels open to 3 panels of mirror each with beveled glass and appear to be original -Surrounding the panels are wood bamboo look which goes with the Asian style -The piece can be hung from its chain on the top or set upon a vanity or shaving table. Tiny metal legs fold out to hold up the two panels. The center panel sits upon its wooden structure legs. -When the panels are folded in there is a small locking clip mechanism that still works -Each panel measures about 11.5" square including the bamboo edge -Piece weighs about 5.5 lbs -This piece is in very nice condition for its age. It has a small worn area on one of the Asian scenes, the mirrors are a little stained and have minor streaks, some of the mirror silvering is missing at the edges and one mirror has a small missing piece along the edge and corner, one of the wooden legs has a small piece missing from it. These flaws do not detract from the vintage beauty of this piece, please see the last 3 photos.
