Description: Here we have an authentic antique original unposted Gibson Girl patriotic glamor artist postcard from Valentine's & Sons (Great Britain) "An American Beauty" series, with artwork by Ernest Linzell. Last photo shows all of the postcards in this series that we currently have in our store, but please note that this listing is only for the single postcard appearing in the rest of the photos. We have lots of fabulous postcards in our store, to which we add new inventory daily, and we're always happy to combine shipping at actual cost. Typically, we can add postcards to your order at the shipping rate of between free and .25¢ each. Condition: Our photographs reveal the condition best and are the most important part of the description--please zoom in on them and examine them carefully. Very clean and fresh card with no funky odors. The lightest possible wear to the surface and edges, with two almost nearly not stubbed, stubbed corners. Unposted, with historical price data penciled-in on back. Back is otherwise minty. Lies nice and flat. Basically, just not as crisp as when brand new. Rest assured that we will do all we can to ensure that your piece of ephemera arrives exactly as presented in our photos. We invest time and appropriate materials into shipping all of our ephemera. Most pieces are sent in envelopes that are sandwiched between cardboard before being sent as Priority or first-class parcels in non-bendable mailers, which ship at rates much higher than first-class letters. We never toss our ephemera into thin stationery envelopes with forever stamps stuck to them expecting the USPS to deliver them to you with great care. We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report.
