I suggest you call the mail first to get an idea how the process works, so you do not make unnecessary trips to the post office. If they tell you we must file the claim we are aware of that, but if it is filled by us the insurance wants proof of the mail authorities in your country that the item was actually damaged in transit, and that is form CN24.
