Description: Antique Open Salt 19th century. Maltsov glass. The emergence of the largest glass and crystal production in the Vladimir and Oryol provinces at that time is associated with the Maltsov family. In 1723, Nazar Druzhinin and Sergei Aksenov founded a glass factory in Mozhaisky district on the empty lands of Shiryaev and Kudinov. A year later, Vasily Maltsov was accepted as a partner, who in 1730 became the sole owner of the plant. In 1746, the enterprise passed into the hands of Vasily’s sons, Akim and Alexander.
