Description: Up for sale is a stunning rare antique cake stand in the Blue Willow pattern. It is marked on the bottom "Old Hall E'Ware ENGLAND". A little research indicates that this mark was used by the Old Hall Earthenware Co. from 1861-1884. I believe this is a rare piece because I cannot find any other blue willow cake plates by this manufacturer on the internet. The plate measures a bit over 4 inches tall and the top plate measures about 9 1/2 inches in diameter. The bottom of the pedestal base measures about 4 7/8 inches in diameter. I do not detect any cracks or repairs to this piece, however, there is some crackling of the glaze and some areas of discoloration. Not unusual for a piece of this age.
