Antique Oil On Canvas Painting Three Ladies In A Boat SIGNED 1884

Description: ANTIQUE Framed Oil On Canvas Painting. Three Ladies In A Boat. Signed. 1884 or 1889 Thank you for checking out my listing. Shows normal antique wear for its age, use and storage. Could benefit from a gently or professional cleaning, I did not clean the oil paining itself (I do not want to damage it in any way). I very gently cleaned the frame. Velvet covered wood liner needs replacing due to velvet loss (if you choose to due that). Gilt composition on wood frame with leaf and floral motif. The frame has shows some damage to each of the corners (see photos) that could be repaired by a professional or touched up or you could replace the frame if you choose. It is signed and dated in the lower right hand corner. The date is either 1884 or 1889 (hard to read the date). The signature is hard to read but possibly Florence Lark? See the stamp on the back of the painting. It shows the shop where the canvas was purchased. Depicts three ladies in a boat, one with a parasol, and the other two each holding an oar, on the river bank. Measurements:19¾" H x 29½" W inset27½" H. x 37½" W overall The use of light is really magnificent, how the sun at dusk creates a beautiful light through the large tree and then onto the river bank. The sunlight captured on the water is so lovely as well. The frame, even with its damage is a real work of art as well.
