Description: Fabulous European Genre Painting of Country Life. The man appears to be playing with or braiding the womans hair while she is sleeping. Beautifully painted with impressionistic detail. The Frame is newer and is decent condition. It was sold to me over 20 years ago as of Italian origin. The condition is good, maybe a few small flakes of paint missing, not really noticeable. Signed with a monogram C L O, 94. I have not been able to find the artist. Just a great little painting to add to your collection, see photos. Size 12x8 canvas, framed 12.5x16.5.
