Description: Beautifully refinished vintage solid oak index card filing box. The box measures 5 3/4" long x 3 1/4" deep x 4" tall. Inside is 5 1/4" wide x 2 3/4" deep x 3 5/8" tall. The box is constructed of 1/4" thick tiger oak and uses finger joints for strength. Refinished with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand-polished with 0000 steel wool and paste-wax to a soft luster. Inside bottom has new dark green felt. Solid brass clasp. Excellent condition. All joints are solid. No cracks, scratches or splits in the wood. Felt pads protect bottom. Shipping weight approximately 2 pounds. Very Fast Handling!
