It appears to have been rebound; the leather spine was replaced and the original front and back covers were utilized. The professional splicing is only visible from the top or bottom of the book. A fascinating aspect of this book is that the author included his opinions of various historical occurrences; they are printed in the margins throughout the book! Please see photos for details.
