Description: Great example of early 1900s working cast iron and brass faced merchant/trade hanging scale. Made in Britain, Salter No. 20T model. Large and heavy, approximately 23” from hook to hook and 9” across the face, weighs 10lbs. Original patina, only light rust on back. When hanging, it worked accurately when I weighed 50lbs on bottom hook, scale will weigh up to 200lbs. Looks antique fabulous for farmhouse/cottage or any vintage style, could be used for a hanging plant or something else decorative. Really nice!
