Description: Antique L. Bernardaud & Co. (D&C France) Limoges Plates (Set of 9/6.25" Plates) Vibrant colors of orange, yellow, pink, lavender and green adorn this set of 9 plates made in France by L. Bernardaud Co. at the D. & Co. factory in the late 19th or early 20th century. Delicate florals are surrounded by a double band of gold on the inner and outer rim. Each plate measures approximately 6 1/4" to 6 3/8" in diameter. There is some slight loss of gold on the outer rim of most plates and some signs of use as expected with age. One plate has a small chip to the gold paint on the outer most rim (see close up photo). No cracks or crazing present. Great find of such a large set.
