Description: This is a magnificent small Antique Khmer Bronze Buddha Figure from Cambodia. Please note the lovely detail of the lower body costume as well as the elaborate necklace dropped over the Figure's shoulders. This piece was purchased in the early 1970's by my father who an active antique dealer in Penang, Malaysia at the time. He purchased the piece from Peng Seng a well known Antique dealer in the Bang Rak district of Bangkok. Please review the pictures closely in regards to the overall condition of this piece. The date of the Figure is unknown but my provenance notes estimate it dates from the 12th Century and is most likely a Buddhist piece Two metal prongs are drilled into the feet and connect the piece to the separate rectangular Acrylic Base (1 5/8 inch High & 1 3/4 inch wide Figure Dimensions: 1 3/4 inches wide, 5 1/2 inches long with a depth of 7/8 of an inch. Height including the Acrylic Base is 6 1/4 inches. Weight: 7.5 ounces (212 grams) Returns accepted if not completely satisfied.
