Description: Antique CAST IRON FLOWER / CLOVER with Woman's face as center PAPER LETTER DESK CLIP #5179 By Judd of New Britain, Conn. There is green polychrome paint in the crevices on the flower petals around her face - on the front of this clip. Her face has what I think is a bronze color polychrome paint. No cracks, chips or breaks. The bronze plating on the top plate and the bottom is in excellent condition. Very little rust - a small spot on the bottom plate near the edge and some pencil points on the top of the bottom plate near the stem. The spring is still nice and strong. The clip measures approximately 4-3/4" long x 3-1/4” wide x 1-1/2” high. It weighs 7.1 ounces. It has the Judd design number #5179 on the back of the bottom plate.
