Description: This is a beautiful antique Japanese cloisonne enamel cigar trinket box. This is a stunning box. The background color is a deep blue. All the sides have white flowers and scrolling wire work. The lid is extremely colorful and detailed. It features a multitude of flowers, a cherry blossom, one vibrant red flower, 2 tiny butterflies, water & hillside. The bottom of the box is white enamel with scrolling wire work. The box is hinged with a side support. This allows the box lid to stay open vertically. The inside is metal lined. The box measures approximately 5 & 3/8" by 4" by 1 & 5/8" high. It opens and closes properly. It is in nice antique condition with any wear consistent with age or use. Also look at the photos to help you judge the condition for yourself.
