Description: Sunburst (#343) is an early Heisey pattern introduced in 1903 and discontinued before 1913. Offered here is a very nice Heisey Sunburst nappy/berry bowl. The pattern features a sunburst design on the exterior similar to cut glass hobstars. The Heisey trademark diamond H is found in the center of the bowl. These nappy/bowls were made in various sizes from 4” up to 10” in diameter. This one measures about 4 ½” in diameter and a little over 1 ½” high. It is in very good antique condition with no chips, nicks, or cracks. It does have some wear on the bottom and sides, with a few production flaws, common during that era (see pictures). This is a beautiful example of early Heisey and it makes a great candy or nut dish.
