Description: This is an Antique Hammered Brass Footed Planter/Jardiniere possibly made in Russia or France Ferner The Ferner is large round brass planter or jardiniere. It measures 9" High x 10" Diameter. It stands on 3 brass feet. I do not see a country of origin anywhere, but I would guess it is from France. It has been handmade with dovetail construction. The planter has been used and has plenty of verdigris and other stains inside, but is very solid and serviceable. There are a couple of minor dents on the sides but they get lost in the overall, design. Original, as found patina. Please see all photos
