Description: This is an antique German Red Roof Dollhouse made by Moritz Gottschalk somewhere between 1990 and 1913. This dollhouse is at best completely original with all the original Gottschalk features and is EXCELLENT almost Mint condition. It retains all it original colors, wallpapers, chimneys, glass, stencils, and the best part is the window treatments. The lace is the all original and is in excellent condition. Please see photos. Its truly amazing that so much of this house has not been altered, broken or touched since its inception! This dollhouse style is featured on page #81 of "The Genius of Moritz Gottschalk" Book by Evelyn Ackerman. (please see last picture) Differences are the chimneys and the bottom window detail. This is really an incredible dollhouse from the Gottschalk line, that retains its original workmanship. A great addition to any collection. The dollhouse measures 17" tall to top of chimney, 16" across the bottom base, and 11 1/2" wide including the stairs. The interior dollhouse alone, has a dimension of 6" deep, 8 3/4" across room 1 and 4 3/4" across room 2 (red room) Any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
