This beautiful spoon has a large shell-shaped, lightly acid etched bowl, the handle is of a nude female surrounded by looping, floral vines and on top of her head is a very intricate engraved repousse shell. This fabulous wine tasting spoon was hand-cast with exquisite engraving and detailing. Hallmarks are: Lion, Anchor, G, Then Sterling, 450 and a rooster. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Length from top to bottom=4-1/2 inches, Bowl width at widest=2-5/8 inches. This beautiful wine tasting spoon has been well cared for, gently used and is in excellent antique condition, free from dents, damage or repairs. There are some light scratches on the back of the spoon bowl, but they do not impact the beauty or utility of this marvelous spoon.
