Description: Antique Goodell-Pratt Company Butchers' Saw 24" Blade No Number. See pictures to verify condition! This is a used butchers' saw that shows wear from use over a long period of time. There is no rust on the frame or blade. All metal surfaces are smooth with a lot of patina. It can't be used as a saw anymore, but it would look great on a wall! The tooth pattern on the blade is not uniform - some of the teeth have been damaged from normal use. The wood handle is intact but has a partial crack through one of the attachment holes. It doesn't extend to the grip hole. The only markings are located on the long part of the frame. It says, "GOODELL-PRATT COMPANY TOOLSMITHS GREENFIELD, MASS." There isn't a model number marked anywhere. The blade measures 24". The saw is 31 3/4" long and 7" tall.
