Description: Up for sale is a fantastic antique French silverplate cloche or meat dome with elaborate floral and fruit band near the bottom and fruit or vegetable finial at top. It measures just under 10" in diameter at the opening, a little over 6" tall or 8" tall including the finial. It bears French silverplate marks as shown. I believe the mark is that of Jean-Francois Veryat, as the plaque (or plated) mark reads JFV. The inside is also stamped "Brunswick Passage Colbert". It needs a polishing as there is tarnish, but I do not see any wear to the silverplate. There are a number of very small dings, and three notable dings I've shown in the last photo. The surface has very fine scratches from use, cleaning and polishing but none are deep and they should polish/buff out nicely. Overall it is a very nice piece in good antique, pre-owned condition with no abuse to report. Please check out the photos and let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for looking! US shipping as indicated. I am able to ship via USPS, UPS or FedEx. All three options are quoted in the shipping section. International orders ship through eBay International Shipping only.
