Antique French Mahogany or Rosewood & Sterling Floral Dresser Jewelry Box

Description: Absolutely gorgeous antique solid wood dresser / jewelry box with hand carving on each side, lovely French legs, and what I believe is a Sterling silver floral medallion on the top (has dent in center, as shown) . I am not an expert but I am guessing that the wood with its beautiful grain is either rosewood, or mahogany. It has a red satin / silk lining. When this is inside and not in the sun, the wood is very dark. It is a beautiful, elegant box. Maker unknown.
