Description: Description Antique 19th century French cut crystal box. Engraved with a charming motif of leaves and berries accented in gold gilding. Enhanced with wheel cut fluted swags along the base and corners. The lid features a 32-point cut starburst. The box is mounted with gilt bronze or brass hinge and escutcheon lock plate. Lacking a key. Finished with a deep wheel cut 24-point starburst at the base. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use, a couple of small nicks hidden among the cut fluting. Measures 3 7/8" x 3 7/8" x 3 1/2" height.
