Description: Stunning Antique English Silk Embroidery 18th C: Lady, Gentlemen & Boy, New Frame. This fine and very rare silk embroidery scene dates to the late 1700's. This unusual piece is embroidered on a silk background. The quality is much finer than those of the Victorian era. It has wear to the background. See pictures. You’ll be drawn in by the quality and the detail of the actual image of museum quality. This panel retains good original colour and condition. I took it out of frame to take a pictures and installed it back. Frame is new. Measures approximately 25 3/4” x 21 1/2” framed, 15” x 12” embroidery only.
