Description: Antique purple Edwardian fancy dress walking jacket and pale pink waistcoat with silver and gold metallic trim and dramatic wide sleeve cuffs. Good condition. Unwashed and estate fresh. Some minor fading and age discoloration. There is a faint square shaped mark on back of jacket (seventh photograph). Vest has a stain on upper left (eighth photograph), and scattered spots on right front side (please see fifth photograph). Stain on interior (lining) of jacket on left side (last photograph). A few small spots on interior of jacket right side of tails (ninth photograph). None have we tried to mitigate. Jacket has no closure. Pockets are decorative. Waistcoat has three snap closures and tie at back. Both are lined in contrasting eggshell cotton. Fabric has little stretch. Best fit likely men’s size small or medium. Jacket: shoulder to shoulder is 17 inches, chest is approximately 40 inches, shoulder to hem is 36 inches, and sleeves are 24 inches long. Vest: chest is 36 inches, and shoulder to hem is 24 inches at it’s longest point.
