Description: We've had this about 60 years. Well cared for. We had a plate shelf around kitchen ceiling full of old tins and kitchenware. This was one of many. All tins are original as you can see from pics. Age and time have darkened many. All would have been acquired in the early to mid sixties. They are today pretty much how mom bought them. I will leave pics to best describe unless there is some defect I see that's not obvious. This tin doesn't have patent appld for, the others that are similar size have patent aplld for embossed on lid. White House Tin is paper label. Does state Patent Registered. Mostly intact. Darkening on color. Paper on lid rim missing. Lid is stuck on. Some wear and shows rust, some tears, no dings or holes. There is a slight glare I tried to get away from it but it is there a vertical light. Pic 1-5 is with flash for easier reading. If you want other pics let me know. Measures 6" tall by 4" wide. I want to let everyone know I appreciate your looking at my items. I am not an expert but have grown up since a very young age around flea markets antique stores and such. We worked flea markets from Michigan to Ohio to Shipshewana. And antique stores from Michigan to Florida. 99% of the items I'm selling are from my family's private collection of over 60 years or my father's used book and record store. I will always try to give accurate descriptions with as much detail as I can see, but my eyes are a little old and tired now. If at any time I miss a flaw please let me know so I can correct the mistake. I ship with great care and proper insurance. Also of note if the shipping cost is grossly inflated I do refund the buyer handling charges are extremely low. Thanks again and I hope you enjoy the items as much as we have.
