Description: A lovely antique flint glass wine goblet that I understand is the Falmouth Straight Huber pattern. It is a heavy glass made of clear flint glass in North America during the Victorian era. This glass was manufactured between 1850-1899 in the United States. It has a wonderful and clear ring when tapped. This goblet is in excellent crystal clear condition, with no defects, cracks, chips, or repairs. The rims are smooth & intact. It rings as clear as a bell, as flint glass should, and it is quite heavy. This goblet would make a great addition to your EAPG flint collection. It measures about 6 inches high and 3 inches in diameter. It holds 8 ounces. It has a thick stem with a 3" diameter foot. This Huber variety has 10 small chamfered corners where the panels terminate at the rim. The Huber pattern was made by many firms of the 1860's and 70's including New England Glass, McKee & Brothers, Bakewell, Pears & CO.,Cape Cod Glass, J. B. Lyon, George Duncan, King, Son & CO., Richards & Hartley and The US Glass Co.
