Description: This is a darling five-piece set of sturdy, antique metal, balloon back, dining chairs, matching dining table, side table and sweet grand piano, circa 1910-1920 by Simon er Rivollet, France. Also called, French penny toy furniture, the chairs each measure about 2 3/4 inches tall and 1 1/4 wide, the round dining table is 2 1/4" across, the side table is just over 2 1/4" long by 1 1/2" wide and 1 1/2" high, the piano is just over 2" long by 1 1/4" wide and 1 1/4" high. With their detailed designs of ribbons, vines and flowers they blend the Art Nouveau and Rococo designs of the period and are in generally excellent condition with no rust, no bends, breaks or repairs. Some pieces retain their original moss green and gold paint. They make great accessories for a dollhouse parlor or living room. Other dollhouse dolls and accessories shown are not included and each listed separately.
