Book is something of a theological synopsis and brief explanation of the works of Dante and his life. Exterior of the book is overall clean with some minor age, use or shelf wear like catalog number written in white to lower spine face with some soils around this are. Upper and lower ends of the spine and outer corner edges of the boards have bumps or minor rubs. Some upper outer page fore edges have some overhanging paper or tatters at the upper margin and some pages are also still uncut which was common for books of the error but rarely still seen on a well over century old book. Book is overll internally very clean with some pencil notations on the front endpaper and title page. A few of the page outer corners towards the front have minor bumps. Books binding is tight and well intact and the book is complete with all pages present and none coming loose, detached or missing. Book totals 352 pages followed by a 40 page period publisher's catalog. Book measures approximately 9 x 5 7/8 x 1 5/8 inches and weighs about 2 pounds.
