Description: Made in Philadelphia, this handsome lamp is from the 1840s - 1860s period. Marble base surmounted by a reeded column, it is both elegant and simple in its execution. Beneath the shade ring, there are hooks for about 36 prisms. A great candidate to dress up or restore! It is a little over 17 inches tall, the shade ring is 8 inches across, and the marble is 5 inches. It appears to be an older electrification with the socket having an uno thread.
