This was a popular style that allowed the lady to pull all her hair back into a bun on the top of her head. It measures approximately 19” around brim and 9” from front to back. The ties are 11” long. I don’t know for sure, but I believe this bonnet to date from circa the late 18th to early 19th Century. Wonderful, hard-to-find authentic Colonial piece to add to your collection.
