Description: Antique Coalport Hand Painted Game Bird Compote Floral Cobalt & Gold Porcelain Gorgeous Hand Painted Coalport Compote Bowl. Decorated cobalt blue, gold, florals, and a bird for center motif. Made sometime Early 1800s This is unmarked. Bought from an Estate sale. The base has been repaired in multiple areas. Looks like it had a fall sometime many years ago and was repaired. Gold/Paint is missing in areas. Bird has some circular stains around it. They are not raised and can not feel them, so I don't believe they are cracks. Please see all the photos. Compote looks slightly crooked from repairs.
