It is intricately decorated with hand painted butterfly and peony motifs around the rim, framing a seated scholar and a poem verse. The dish is gilt trimmed, with motifs of peaches and bats on the bottom, symbolizing fortune and luck. The footing on the base is green with wave-like patterns. Measurements: 9" length, 7" widthCondition: The dish contains several chips along the rim and a hairline crack towards the bottom but is otherwise in good condition.
