Description: A antique Chinese dragon roof tile antefix or end cap. Five clawed dragon design was stamped into terracotta glazed and fired. Style is typical of patterns used in Ming and early Qing dynasties. Roughly 5 inches across. Please examine images closely, there are areas of wear to the glazing.Altogether a nice old piece of Chinese ceramic, they are several similar pieces in University collections worldwide.
