Description: Here are two magnificent mirror-image stone carvings depicting water buffaloes and their calves on top of a columned plinth with carved leaves and deer. The stone is semi-translucent and still beautifully polished after all these years. One carving has an old break on its base but it is in the back and cannot be seen from the front (see photo). Each carving comes with a newer, but still vintage, carved wood base. The carvings each measure 8.5 inches tall by 3 inches wide and 3 inches deep.
