Description: Antique Chinese Archaic Bronze Vase w/ Dragon Head Handles; Up for sale is a bronze vase with horned dragon head handles, dated 19th century or earlier. The bronze vase in brown patina has a bulbous belly. The handles are elegantly designed to have horned dragon heads with long beards to link to the vase body. The surface of the vase is richly carved with archaic motifs. Both edges of the rim and the base are decorated with dots. The vase is signed with 6 Chinese characters in seal script as “大明宣德年制” on bottom, which is a Ming Dynasty Mark showing Xuande Year System. However, we believed that the piece was made in later decades. Measures: 12” high x 2 ¾” rim diameter x 3 ¾” base diameter x 6” at its widest; Weight, 3 lbs & 8.2 oz (1.59 kg). Condition: Excellent and clean, beautiful patina, no issues to report. Shipment: Our items can be shipped worldwide.
