Description: Chinese antique green quartz water coupe. The quartz is a light sea green color with veins and pockets of different varieties dark and light purple. There is some light brown and deep purple that is almost black. The water coupe itself is carved like a like a large Lilly pad with vines wrapping and weaving around it. There is a carved seed pod on one side and the handle of the water coupe is carved to mimic butterfly wings. C1900. Hand carved. There are no rough edges but there is some evidence to suggest slight reploshing. The bottom as a small spot that looks slightly internally abraded. The water coupe measures 4” inches long x 2 1/4” wide x 2” deep and weighs 309.6g grams or 199.1dwt. Condition: good for normal use and age Material: quartz Origin: China Circa: 20th century
