Antique c.1870s LOMAX Gothic Thumbprint & Sawtooth Pattern Glass Oil Lamp

Description: Lomax Gothic thumbprint & sawtooth patterned oil lamp with a Socony burner Has the patented Lomax spill proof lipNo chips or cracks. Use scratching (primarily at the foot from being slid across surfaces for over 100 years), fleabites and rubbing at high points in the pattern (See photos). The brass collar has some dings but is stable and usable. The glass is clear and it is UV reactive in 365nm True UV light. Burner is a Socony No.1. It is in poor condition with heavy wear (This lamp was acquired with this burner on it). 10.5" H with burner on. 9.25" to top of brass collar. This is an estate item and is therefore sold as is.
