Description: Fantastic antique primitive C. Wilder & Son wooden firkin sugar bucket with drop wooden swinging handle & lid. Has wonderful aged patina & a great size!!! Although lightly stamped in some spots it is stamped "C. Wilder & Son So. Hingham, Mass." It measures approximately 10 inches tall with handle down & 14 inches with handle up, by 10 inches across base by 7 3/4 inches across inside opening & outer cover diameter is 9 inches. In good antique condition with a wonderful aged patina. Scattered wear, dings, scratches, light staining on inside of bucket & usage marks from use. Lid has two nail pops with wood loss, drying crack across top board & hair line/drying cracks on lids outer banding. Please see all pictures for more description.
