Description: PrillyCharmin Bargains Antique BREVETE SGDG Victorian Coin Purse, Very Good Condition 1800's. This is a very nice antique coin purse, most likely from the late 1800's. The outer shell is made of something hard: possibly celluloid or even bakelite or perhaps a natural material. If it's bakelite, that would date this purse after 1920's, but I don't think it's bakelite. It's probably late Victorian. Makers mark on an inside clasp says: BREVETE SGDG. This little purse was made in France. One of the inside pockets is closed with a dainty clasp that secures: possibly so money or other small valuables won't fall out. The hard shell is attached to paper or leather pleats, so the purse does expand more than you would expect. The accordian pleats are in very good condition with only minor wear and no holes.
