Description: FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE...! Found in an estate liquidation on Madeira Island Portugal, from the workroom of a retired antiques dealer. Purchased decades ago at a Flea Market in Paris. Antique heavy cast Brass - Bronze feet for a Box Style Chest / Platform Base Table / Couch / Cabinet / Table Bed. A matched set of four offered as a lot. These would mount with screws, however, NO screws were found with them. They measure overall 5 1/2 inches long. The flat top that would be secured to the bottom of a piece of furniture measures 2 1/2 Inches square. When secured, they would add 2 3/4 inches in height. From age and disuse, they are heavily tarnished. I inserted a standard size playing card in one photo as a reference for size. Meant to be surface mounted. In the hand, they are really hefty.
