Description: Amazing, antique art sculpture figurine of the Hindu Goddess, Saraswati. She is the Goddess of Knowledge, Music, art, Speech, Wisdom and Learning. She is also known to bring order out of chaos, and has a calming and centering personality. Most likely made of Brass (possibility of Bronze but I think brass), and green paint/enamel. Has a dark patina and appears to be quite old. I believe this came from India originally. Measures about 4 1/4" tall and about 3" from tip of instrument across. Base is 2"x2". A lovely piece.
