Description: This listing is for an antique copy (1859) of The Wars of the Roses by J.G. Edgar. The book has 470 pages. Its dimensions are 6.75” x 4 1/2” x 1”. The book is in acceptable condition considering that it is 165 years old. All of the pages are present and still sewn to the binding. The printing is legible and the pages are intact with no rips, dog ears, or pen marks. Flaws: The cover of the bottom half of the spine is missing and the remaining portion is held on with scotch tape. The front and back end papers have staining. A name, location and date are written in pencil on the first page, another name is written on the back end paper in colored pencil. The front cover has a large circular watermark and a small dark stain. The pages are yellowed with age and have staining. The bottom of some pages have rough edges, and the corners of some pages were not properly cut. Please refer to the photographs.
