Antique Blue Wedgwood Jasperware Mapping & Web Silverplate Salad Server Set Box

Description: Very rare and elegant vintage Salad Set of serving spoon and fork (servers) in the original fitted presentation case. Both servers have a Wedgwood pale blue jasperware with white "Acanthus" relief pistol-shape handle and silver-plated metal parts and flower decorated connecting neck rings by Mappin & Webb. Servers are well-built - they are way more solid any salad sets with Wedgwood handlers we have seen thus far. They are in excellent used condition with minimal age appropriate ware. Case is also in good condition, but there are some signs of ware (primarily on exterior). Overall, the Salad Set is an excellent and impressive example of successful collaboration between the two world renown companies, Wedgwood and Mappin & Webb.
