Description: This is a very old, black bonnet. There are no tags or markings so it is impossible to tell exactly how old it is, but it is definitely an antique. A great piece of history. I have written that it is 1800s?/Victorian/Edwardian but I have no idea just how old it is or when it comes from. You can look at the photos and make your own judgement. Sturdy thick brim. One side of the bonnet is a lighter shade due to sun damage. There are a few holes and a light spot at the top/back of the head. a few scuffs at the neck ruffle.
