Description: Absolutely beautiful map made by James Monteith and published on 1885 by A. S. Barnes and Company. This map measures approximately 19" x 12 1/4". It was a double page atlas map and has been reinforced along the seam from the reverse side with museum grade invisible archival mending tape. There was also a small repair using that same mending tape from the reverse side so as to not be visible. Please refer to the pictures for more details, or feel free to message me with any questions. Note. All oversized maps are placed in an acid-free polybag and shipped in a sealed document tube with tracking.
